Bridging the Gap: Georgia K-12 students, STEM education, esports, and the gaming industry.

This event is co-hosted by the Institute for People and Technology at Georgia Tech and the Georgia Scholastic Esports Foundation as STEM engagement outreach for Georgia educators, parents, and students on the benefits of gaming/esports programs and STEM in K-12 schools.

Informed by Georgia Tech research, this event is designed to help orient attendees on the how and why to creating esports and gaming programs in schools, as well as sharing the benefits of these STEM programs for young students. Our speakers will cover the most frequently asked questions around the benefits of esports and gaming, as well as how to kick start a program for your school. Georgia education and industry leaders are excited to share their knowledge and experience, in addition to answering your questions on how to prepare for a STEM games and esports career.
